Galbraith Rain Gardens
Our goal was to create native habitat, edible landscaping, use natural materials and install green stormwarter infrastructure. First step was to create two rain gardens that flank a new flagstone patio in order to effectively handle stormwater. These gardens are planted with native perennials, grasses and trees that are already supporting a variety of wildlife. A new native meadow attracts pollinators to the new fruit trees. Pears, plums, peaches and apples form a new orchard that flank the driveway.
