Install Crew
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced person to join our Install Crew to assist us in building landscape projects focused on sustainable, environmentally-friendly practices. The ideal candidate is able to work well on a team or independently, based on active projects.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and installation of native plantings, rain gardens, irrigation, hardscapes patios and walkways
- Maintain equipment, tools, and materials, ensuring they are used and stored properly
- Material deliveries with work truck and trailers
- Operating heavy equipment
- Work on a team under the guidance of crew lead and project manager
- Dress in proper work attire suited for the elements
Qualifications
- 1 year experience in landscape installation
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate heavy equipment
- Ability to commute independently to job sites within Whatcom and Skagit county
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
-Ability to lift 50lbs comfortably
Preferred Skills
- Experience in reading desing plans and installing natural stone hardscape, plantings + irrigation systems.
- Experience in operating heavy equipment
- Experience in driving truck and trailer for material deliveries
Hours & Benefits
- Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm
- $25-$30 per hour starting (based on experience)
- Annual work wear stipend
