Semiamoo Shores

Artificially raised site previously used as a depository for dredged material during the construction of the marina. As a result, a 4-5' tall cliff face formed along the high-water mark of the shoreline. With the construction of the new homes a plan was made to regrade 900 feet of shoreline back to its original topography.  A public trail was realigns and lowered below the view of the new homes. The path is protected by large beach logs, cobbles storm surge berm and native plants, which helps increase shoreline stabilization & wildlife habitat.
