Yellow Avens - Geum macrophyllum
This perennial wildflower is native to the moist meadows and woods of North America. Typically growing to heights of 1 to 3 feet, it features large, rounded leaves that have a coarse texture and can create a lush green understory. In late spring to early summer, yellow avens produces clusters of charming yellow flowers with delicate, cup-shaped blooms, attracting various pollinators such as bees and butterflies.
